Technos-The New God Imago.

Nietzsche; 'What? no new Gods for 2000 years?'
Poor old Friedrich!
God is Alive! Nietzsche is dead!.
The 'Collective unconscious', as postulated by Jung, has changed. We now see it, in the artistic productions, of most of mankind's, endeavours.
It is now TECHNOLOGY.[TECHNOS].
Science Fiction? or, a coming to the ego-consciousness, of the new God-Imago?

The Sound of Silence

Hello darkness, my old friend,
I've come to talk with you again,
Because a vision softly creeping,
Left it's seeds while I was sleeping,
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence.
In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone,
'neath the halo of a street lamp,
[see Jung's Liverpool Dream!]
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
That split the night
[Splitting! see my commentary on 'After the Gold rush!]
And touched the sound of silence.

And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more.
People talking without speaking,
People hearing without listening,
see 'Babbalanja's vision ,' Melville-mardi]
People writing songs that voices never share
And no one dare
Disturb the sound of silence.

"fools" said i, "you do not know
Silence like a cancer grows.
Hear my words that I might teach you,
Take my arms that I might reach you."
[see 'Garuda' symbolism]
But my words like silent raindrops fell,
And echoed
In the wells of silence

And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon God they made.
And the sign flashed out it's warning,
In the words that it was forming.
And the sign said, "the words of the prophets

Are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls."
And whisper'd in the sounds of silence.

[Paul Simon]

The Jean-Genie

Small Jean Genie snuck off to the city
Strung out on lazers and slash back blazers
Ate all your razors
 while pulling the waiters
[Razors? could be Occam or more likely ,another 'splitting'/cutting through]
Talking bout monroe and walking on snow white
New Yorks a go-go and everything tastes nice
Poor little greenie, woo ho
Get back home

The jean genie lives on his back
The jean genie loves chimney stacks
Hes outrageous, he screams and he bawls
Jean genie let yourself go!

Sits like a man but he smiles like a reptile
She love him, she love him but just for a short while
Shell scratch in the sand, wont let go his hand
He says he's a beautician and sells you nutrition
And keeps all your dead hair for making up underwear
Poor little greenie, woh ho

The jean genie lives on his back
The jean genie loves chimney stacks
Hes outrageous, he screams and he bawls
Jean genie let yourself go oh

Hes so simple minded he can't drive his module
He bites on the neon and sleeps in the capsule
Loves to be loved, loves to be loved
Woh ho
Woh ho

Aoo jean genie lives on his back
The jean genie loves chimney stacks
And he's outrageous, he screams and he bawls
The jean genie let yourself go! go

Go

Jean genie lives on his back
Jean genie loves chimney stacks
And he's outrageous, he screams and he bawls
Jean genie let yourself go woh ho go
Go go

[David Bowie]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Two incredible, and beautiful songs, from a deep level of consciousness, the ego's search for a new relationship with 'self'.
[Bowie's 'Drug usage/Sexuality', has become his new, 'God', whereas, Mr. Simon, is ,coming, from, an , 'Inverted Religious 'attitude, [Mother-influence]
Thanks to Mr Simon, and Mr Bowie, I can see, the beginnings, of 'Neon', appearing, ever so slightly, into consciousness[illumination, and also, a 'Noble', gas],TECHNOS! beginning to appear, just prior to the take over, of the world, in the latter years of the twentieth century, via, the all- seeing 'Eye', that you are now looking into! ie, your computer screen!

It's plain to see, you were meant for me! God Is Alive!
