I Know I'm A Wolf - Wolf's Rain

The Alarm- Going Out in a Blaze Of Glory

It's funny how they shoot you down
When your hands are held up high
And you open up your heart and soul
But that's not enough for most.

I remember this much
There is nothing
You shouldn't speak of
If you got something to say
And there is no one
To be scared of
Just get them out of the way

GOING OUT IN A BLAZE OF GLORY
My heart is open wide
You can take anything that you want from me
there is nothing left to hide

GOING OUT IN A BLAZE OF GLORY
my hands are held up high
I'm learning how to hit back
I'm learning how to fight

The law of the jungle says
You look after yourself
But I remember this much
I love as I've been loved myself.

Don't forget what I told you now
When the question keeps on coming
And it's "How much more can you take"
When they've ripped your clothes to pieces
"Shouldn't you be gone by now"

But you keep on
GOING OUT IN A BLAZE OF GLORY
Setting your sights for the sky.
They can offer you anything at all
But your dreams must not be sold.
GOING OUT IN A BLAZE OF GLORY
No price is high enough
I'm fighting back with feeling
I'm fighting back with love

Alphaville - I Die for You Today

I,love, the pictures, on,this,Album, Cover..seems, I've, seen, them, all, before..
[they, are,all Drug Metaphors/Symbol]
then, again, I,met, the Devil, one, time..He, was, a tall, black Guy,with, no face,
and, strangely, enough,long, blonde hair..

I'm all out of hope
One more bad dream could bring a fall
When I'm far from home
Don't call me on the phone
To tell me you're alone
It's easy to deceive
It's easy to tease
But hard to get release

Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Got no human grace your eyes without a face.

I spend so much time
Believing all the lies
To keep the dream alive
Now it makes me sad
It makes me mad at truth
For loving what was you

Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Got no human grace your eyes without a face.

When you hear the music you make a dip
Into someone else's pocket then make a slip.
Steal a car and go to Las Vegas oh, the gigolo pool.

Hanging out by the state line,
Turning holy water into wine
Drinkin' it down, oh
I'm on a bus on a psychedelic trip
Reading murder books tryin' to stay hip.
I'm thinkin' of you you're out there so
Say your prayers.
Say your prayers.
Say your prayers.

Now I close my eyes
And I wonder why
I don't despise
Now all I can do
Is love what was once
So alive and new
But it's gone from your eyes
I'd better realise

Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Got no human grace your eyes without a face.
Such a human waste your eyes without a face
And now it's getting worse.

Dion And The Belmonts - The Wanderer

Q

For centuries, biblical scholars followed the Augustinian hypothesis: that the Gospel of Matthew was the first to be written, Mark used Matthew in the writing of his, and Lukefollowed both Matthew and Mark in his (the Gospel of John is quite different to the other three, which because of their similarity are called the Synoptic Gospels). Nineteenth-century New Testament scholars who rejected Matthew's priority in favor of Markan priority speculated that Matthew's and Luke's authors drew the material they have in common with the Gospel of Mark from Mark's Gospel. But Matthew and Luke also share large sections of text not found in Mark. They suggested that neither Gospel drew upon the other, but upon a second common source, termed Q.[9][10]
Herbert Marsh, an Englishman, is seen by some as the first person to hypothesize the existence of a "narrative" source and a "sayings" source, although he included in the latter parables unique to Matthew and unique to Luke.[11] In his 1801 work, A dissertation on the Origin and Composition of our Three First Canonical Gospels, he used the Hebrew letter Aleph (א) to denote the narrative source and the letter beth (ב) to denote the sayings source.[12]
The next person to advance the "sayings" hypothesis was the German Friedrich Schleiermacher in 1832. Schleiermacher interpreted an enigmatic statement by the early Christian writer Papias of Hierapoliscirca 125 ("Matthew compiled the oracles (Greeklogia) of the Lord in a Hebrew manner of speech, and everyone translated them as well he could") as evidence of a separate source. Rather than the traditional interpretation—that Papias was referring to the writing of Matthew in Hebrew—Schleiermacher proposed that Papias was actually referring to a sayings collection of the apostle Matthew that was later used, together with narrative elements, by another "Matthew" and by the otherEvangelists.[13]
In 1838 another German, Christian Hermann Weisse, took Schleiermacher's suggestion of a sayings source and combined it with the idea of Markan priority to formulate what is now called the Two-Source Hypothesis, in which both Matthew and Luke used Mark and the sayings source. Heinrich Julius Holtzmann endorsed this approach in an influential treatment of the synoptic problem in 1863, and the two-source hypothesis has dominated ever since.
At this time, the second source was usually called the Logia, or Logienquelle (logia-source), because of Papias's statement, and Holtzmann gave it the symbol Lambda (Λ). But toward the end of the 19th century, doubts began to grow about the propriety of anchoring its existence to Papias's account. So a neutral symbol Q (which was devised byJohannes Weiss to denote Quelle, meaning source) was adopted to remain neutrally independent of the collection of sayings and its Papian connection.
This two-source hypothesis speculates that Matthew borrowed from both Mark and Q. For most scholars, Q accounts for what Matthew and Luke share — sometimes in exactly the same words — but that are absent in Mark. Examples are the Devil's three temptations of Jesus, the Beatitudes, the Lord's Prayer, and many individual sayings.[14]
In The Four Gospels: A Study of Origins (1924), Burnett Hillman Streeter argued that a third hypothetical source, referred to as M, lies behind the material in Matthew that has no parallel in Mark or Luke.[15] And some material present only in Luke might have come from an also unknown L source. This four-source hypothesis posits that there were at least four sources to the Gospel of Matthew and the Gospel of Luke: the Gospel of Mark, and three lost sources: Q, M, and L. (M material is represented by green in the above chart.)
Throughout the remainder of the 20th century, there were various challenges and refinements of Streeter's hypothesis. For example, in his 1953 book The Gospel Before Mark,Pierson Parker posited an early version of Matthew (Aramaic M or proto-Matthew) as the primary source.[16] Parker argued that it was not possible to separate Streeter's "M" material from the material in Matthew parallel to Mark.[17][18]
In the early 20th century, more than a dozen reconstructions of Q were made. But these reconstructions differed so much from each other that not a single verse of Matthew was present in all of them. As a result, interest in Q subsided and it was neglected for many decades.
This state of affairs changed in the 1960s after translations of a newly discovered and analogous sayings collection, the Gospel of Thomas, became available. James M. Robinson of the Jesus Seminar and Helmut Koester proposed that collections of sayings such as Q and Gospel of Thomas represented the earliest Christian materials at an early point in a trajectory that eventually resulted in the canonical gospels.
This burst of interest after the Gospel of Thomas's discovery led to increasingly more sophisticated literary reconstructions of Q, and even to redactional speculation, notably in the work of John S. Kloppenborg. Kloppenborg, by analyzing certain literary and thematic phenomena, argued that Q was composed in three stages. In his view, the earliest stage was a collection of wisdom sayings involving such issues as poverty and discipleship. Then, he posits, this collection was expanded by including a layer of judgemental sayings directed against "this generation". The final stage included the Temptation of Jesus narrative.
Although Kloppenborg cautioned against assuming that Q's composition history is the same as the history of the Jesus tradition (i.e., that the oldest layer of Q is necessarily the oldest and pure-layer Jesus tradition), some recent seekers of the Historical Jesus, including members of the Jesus Seminar, have done just that. Basing their reconstructions primarily on the Gospel of Thomas and the oldest layer of Q, they propose that Jesus functioned as a wisdom sage, rather than a Jewish rabbi, though not all members affirm the two-source hypothesis. Kloppenborg is now a fellow of the Jesus Seminar himself.

INTERESTING, NO?..JESUS, WAS, NOT, A JEWISH, RABBI.?..THAT,WOULD,EXPLAIN,A LOT,
OF,PARADOXES.
THEN, JUST, WHAT, WAS, HE?..

Q is a fictional character in Star Trek: The Next GenerationStar Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek: Voyager, as well as in related products. In all of these programs, he is portrayed by John de Lancie. The name "Q" also applies to all other individuals of the Q Continuum.
Q is said to be omnipotent and is continually evasive regarding his motivations. His home the Q Continuum is accessible to the Q and their guests, and the true nature of it is said to be beyond the comprehension of "lesser beings" such as humans so it is shown to humans only in ways they can understand.

Paul’s obvious knowledge of the Jewish scriptures makes the analysis of arsenokoites as referring to shrine prostitution compelling for an objective researcher.
Suppose, however, that such simple logic is set aside in finding the word’s meaning.
In Greek culture, relationships between men (and particularly between a master and his pupil) were common; they were an important theme in literature, and there was a range of very specific Greek words that Paul could have chosen among. The argument has been made that Paul coined a new term because he wanted to condemn more than just, say, pederasty, and his new term avoided using a multitude of specific Greek terms in order to cover the whole subject. This demonstrates both prejudice and a solid ignorance of ancient Greek; Greek also had general words to refer to homosexuality.
Trying to figure out what the word means by looking just at its component parts is linguistically naïve. Of course, at one time the meaning of any compound word did depend on some aspects of the parts, but language change and usage quickly alter and can obscure this. Consider the parts of ‘chairman,’ which did indeed begin with ‘chair’ (meaning ‘throne,’ something it doesn’t mean nowadays) and ‘man’ but now is compounded to produce a very different word that doesn’t necessarily involve either chairs or men.
A case can be (though usually isn’t) made that arsenokoites does apply to homosexuality by using the analogy of some other (mostly very rare) compound words of similar vintage. Arsenokoites – the first part of which means ‘adult male’ – appears to fit neatly within a pattern:
• doulo·koitEsconsorter with slaves (slave-bedder)
• deuteron·koiteto have a bed-fellow (two-bedder)
• polu·koitospromiscuity (many-bedder)
• homo·koitos
• enOto
·koitEs
bedfellow (same-bedder)
with ears large enough to sleep in (ears·bed)
Unfortunately for such a scheme, there is already a combination for sex with a male:
• andro·koitEshaving intercourse with a man
and it is a feature of languages that they do not create different forms for identical meanings.
In addition, consider the parts of enOto·koitEs. A logical meaning for this word, if the key were analogy to the others in the set, would be something like ‘a person with a (sexual) ear fetish.’ The morphology of a word provides clues to how it was originally made, but in terms of meaning, it only shows how very fertile the process of language creation is. A similar process could produce arseno + koites = man + bed, ≈ man sleeping → couch potato.
Certainly, some aspects of each of the components, ‘male’ and ‘bed,’ were originally present, but a sounder process for finding its meaning would be to make inferences about it from contexts in which it appears. Unfortunately, this has not been very productive either. In 1997 the Thesaurus Lingua Graecae database listed 73 usages of arsenokoites, but most of these appear in contexts similar in pattern and vocabulary to Paul’s lists. None of them indelibly mark the word with a single meaning (though for at least one context the meaning ‘homosexual’ would be impossible). It is both claimed and disputed that the term tends to occur between listings of sexual sins and social sins, which would suggests that the term originally had some sort of relationship to sexual injustice – and all of the usages found are compatible with this interpretation. In all of them the term could indicate subjugation to and/or exploitation by a powerful aggressor, whether in the context of rape or of treatment of slaves – i.e., coercive, non-procreative sex. Still, even this meaning is not absolutely forced on us – and meanings do change with time.
The force of Paul’s warnings very likely were instrumental in helping eliminate temple prostitution. This left behind a word of uncertain meaning that Paul had sternly disapproved of … and audiences were left with filling in the blank. Child molestation, anal/oral intercourse with one’s wife, and masturbation were three topics that certainly,  at different times, became associated with the word; the latest simply is (male) homosexuality.
The end result of a lot of research is simply that – in spite of a lot of claims – the meaning of arsenokoites is obscure. One prominent investigator of the meaning ofarsenokoites, Dale Martin of Yale University comments, “I should be clear about my claims here. I am not claiming to know what arsenokoites meant, I am claiming that no one knows what it meant.”

Kaminski's Real History

The same people who engineered the French and Bolshevik revolutions, as well as the American Civil War and both World Wars, also pulled off 9/11. And they always use the same methods. A target group they don’t like is vilified, a fictional provocation is created, and war is declared against them. The reasons for war are ALWAYS unprovable lies, because they are only constructed fictions used as excuses for bombing nations and killing people who possess natural resources they want to steal.

As the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 was the trigger mechanism of World War I and Pearl Harbor was the staged affront that dragged America into World War II, so 9/11 was the contrived catalyst for permanent war against the world now taking place in Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan, Colombia and many other places. In fact, the seed of the puppetmasters’ death machine has sprouted in every country on this planet.

But it is in the French Revolution that we can most vividly see what is about to happen to us now, as the parade of leaders who are used to champion a reasonless revolution before being guillotined when they were no longer useful very much resembles the cast of shady characters today’s news media parade before us as our “leaders.”

More abstractly,  it's a method of consciously entering into a dialogue with the unconscious, which triggers the transcendent function, a vital shift in consciousness, brought about through the union of the conscious and unconscious minds. Unexpected insights and self-renewal are some of the results of the transcendent function. It achieves what I call that elusive ‘Goldilocks' condition, the ‘just right' of having the conscious and unconscious minds work together, rather than being at odds. In the process it produces a third state more vivid and ‘real' than either; in it we recognize what consciousness should be like and see our ‘normal' state as at best a muddling-through. Previously, the transcendent function had helped Jung when faced with the dilemma of having to choose between science or the humanities. Then it operated through a dream, producing the mandala-like symbol of the giant radiolarian. [jellyfish]In the simplest sense, the transcendent function is our in-built means of growth, psychological and spiritual — it's ‘transcendent' only in the sense that it ‘transcends' the frequent deadlock between the conscious and unconscious minds — and is a development of what Jung earlier recognized as the "prospective tendencies in man."

Two Months, later,I, was, out, of, Hospital, but, there, was, to, be, no,compensation.
The Firm, of, Solicitors, had, gone, to, work, and, the Blame-Game,started.
The Garage, denied, any, responsibility, as, did, the Paint-shop,saying, the Accident, occurred, off, Their,Premises, even, though, the Breakdown Truck, was, sub-contracted, to, attend, to,
Their, Vehicles. They all, shrugged, Their, shoulders, and, said, "It's, nothing, to, do, with, Us?2..
The Breakdown,Truck, that, the Taxi, broke free, from, was, owned, by, a Self-Employed, Contractor, who, it, transpired, was, unlicensed, and, uninsured, He,was, what, the Solicitor, called, 'a Man of Straw'..His, Name, was, Cain, that, much,I, know,
and, He,made, a cash offer, of, compensation, to, Me, as, a gesture, but, disappeared, and, never, paid, a Penny.
If, I ever, meet, Him, I'm, I, promise,going, to,get, My, Money's worth,and, I, never, forget,anything.
'Marked by Cain?'..Oh, Yes.
The Solicitors, were, on, a 'No Win,No Pay', basis, and, They, tried, everything, but, to, no,avail, They, never, got, paid, either.
They, tried, to,involve, the,Owners, of, the Land, on, which, the Garage, was, sited, but, to, no avail, They, even, tried,
the Council, the reason, being, the Cobbled Street, could, have, somehow, contributed, but, again, to, no,avail.
The outcome, left, a bitter taste,in, My mouth, and, eventually,I, went, back, to work, but, I, never, again, used, that Garage,or,spoke, to, any ,of, the Rats ,who, worked, there. As, for, compensation, from, the State?..that, never, happened, either,
They, said,I, was, not, entitled, to,disability,Payment,in, spite, of, My ,protests, so, for, two months, I, got, precisely, fuck all.
But,Luck, is, a Strange, thing..The Garage, eventually, went bust, and, closed, down, throwing, the Rat Workers, on, the Dole,
and, almost, unbelievably, some, years, later, Persons unknown, actually, stole, the, same, Cobbled, Street..ripping, up, the,
'Sets', or, large, brick -shaped, Granite, blocks..which, had, been, there, for, over, a hundred years..
As, for,Me? , I, now, have, a built-in,kind, of, Barometer, in, My, ankle, and, almost, unerringly, can, predict, when, it, will, rain. The ,fifty stitches, are, healed, up, but, the skin, tightens, and, let's, Me, know, any, changes..

The Artichokes - WAIWHAKAMUKAU

Despite its name, the Jerusalem artichoke has no relation to Jerusalem, and it is not a type of artichoke, though the two are distantly related as members of the daisy family. The origin of the name is uncertain. Italian settlers in the United States called the plant girasole, the Italian word for sunflower, because of its resemblance to the garden sunflower (note: both the sunflower and the sunchoke are part of the same genus: Helianthus). Over time, the name girasole may have been changed to Jerusalem.[9] The English later corrupted girasole artichoke (meaning, "sunflower artichoke") to Jerusalem artichoke

The Dwarf

We ,were ,now,in, the ,Shadiest,most,Dingy,little, Building,in, the most, Dingy,out of the way,District,
of, Liverpool's, Docklands.
It, had, been, one, of, those, nights, in, Town, with,Dave, My, best ,friend.
Dave,had, gone,through, Catering College, and, got, a job, as, a Steward,on, a Harrison Line, Ship,'the Magician',one,
of, a fleet, of,Cargo Vessels, that, traded, mostly, to, the Caribbean.
I, was, about, Seventeen, and, still, at, School, still, living, with, My Parents..and, yearning, for, Freedom.
Dave, had, come, home, loaded, flush, with,Cash. He, had, saved, His, Wages, from, an, Eight Week, trip, and, was, raring,
to, 'Hit Town', buy, Clothes, drink,a few,Beers, and, shake off, the Weeks,of, confinement.
How, strange,to,Me, it, all, seems, on, recall.
We, had, mostly, spent, the day, in,Clothing, Shops, for,Dave, had, a,great,Style, and, taste, for, Clothes,
spending, what,I, considered,way,too,much.
He ,pulled,out,a Wad,to pay, for, a Shirt,and, had, given,Me, a bunch, of,Venezuelan,'Bolivar', notes,which,
I,put, in, the pocket, of,My ,Denim,Shirt, and, forgot, about.
Music,Stores, were, next, on, the Agenda, and,We, traipsed, from, Store, to Store, looking, for,Cassette Tapes,
Headphones,and,New, Vinyl, Albums,all,of,which, were, duly,discussed,tried out,and, bought, or, rejected.
Soon, We,were, in, a Pub, and,although, We,were,both,under, Age,We,never, got,Questioned,and,
always, got,served.
In, those,Days,at, the end, of, the Seventies, every,Pub, had, a JukeBox,the Quality, of, which, was, always,
the Subject, of, heated, argument, but, it, was, a matter,of, Honour, to select, a Record, that, everyone, else, agreed,
was, an, 'Alright Song'...Motown, was, always, a safe, selection, and, mostly, Motown, was, heard...
Another ,Pub, attraction, was, the,'Space Invaders'..Table Top,Game, which, had, just, arrived, on, the Scene.
Mobile Phones, were, unheard,of,except, in,TV Programs, like,'Banachek', with, George Peppard,
and, His, looked, like, a HouseBrick, So, Public Telephones, were, always,in,demand.
Dave, had, come, from, a Broken Home, background, His, Black,West Indian,Father, and,White, English, Mother,
had, split up, when, He, was ,Younger, and, He, had, gone, to live,With, His, retired, Grandparents, who, He, called,
'Uncle Dan', and,'Nan'. They, had, a Golden Retriever, called, 'Silver', who, was, the smartest, nicest, Dog, I, ever, knew.
Dave, had, been,a bit, spoiled, by, His, Grandparents, and,I,suppose,I,was, jealous, because,He, always, seemed, to have, the best, of, everything, but, He, also, must, have, been, a bit, jealous, of,Me,because,He, always, liked, the, idea, of,'Family'.
Our, discussions, about, Our,futures, were, long, and, varied, and,We, would, spend, hours, fantasising, about, going,to,
America, getting, a couple, of,Harleys, and, riding, across, Route 66,both, ways, although,at, that, time, neither,of,Us, could, ride, a Motorcycle, or, drive, a Car.
Dave, was, a really, Good looking, Guy, and, Girls, were, always, hanging, around, and, of, course, this, could, occasionally, cause,
problems,and,fights, with, jealous, Boyfriends,etc.
Our, lives, were, taking, different directions, though, and,at, the end, of, High School..I, had, decided, to stay, on, for,'A',levels, whereas,
Dave, had, wanted, to, 'Go to Sea'.
It,had, been, about, a Year, and, We, had, kept, in, touch, by,Letter, but, We, were, drifting, apart. He, had,a regular, Girlfriend,
who,He,eventually, married, with, Me as, the Best Man, but, like, all, of, us, He, had, a wandering Eye, and,His,
'Conquests', were, many.
Staying on, at, School, had, been, My, biggest, mistake. It, didn't,take, Me, long, to realise, that,'A' levels, were,a lot,
more, difficult, than, the seven,'O' Levels, I,had, already, passed,So, one, day, I, just ,walked, out, and, didn't, go, back..
My, real, Education, began, on, that, day, and, now, years, later,I, still, have, no regrets.
One ,time,I, was, driving, with, My,wife,in, a Rental Car, in, Los Angeles,in, the dark, and,I, took, a wrong, turn, off, the Freeway, and, ended, up, in,
Longbeach, in, a District, that, looked, very, familiar, it, was, just, like, Liverpool's Dockland..I,carried, on, not, knowing, where,
I, was, going, trying, to get, back, to, the PCH, driving, through,Huntington Beach, and, places, I, remembered, from, 'Banachek'.
Episodes..finally,I, got, to where, I, wanted, to, be..Anaheim,and, Disneyland..
The Dingy,Club, We, were,in,was,dimly,lit.It, was, Tiny, by,Night Club Standards,and, it's,Clientele, were, all,
Shady ,Characters. It, was, called, 'The Norseman',and, it, was, the haunt, of,some ,very ,Gangster, individuals.
At, the top, of, the Street, was, a Pub, called, 'The Griffin'..and,Me, and,Dave, had, been, in, there,Playing, the,
'Space Invaders',Table, for, hours, and,Pool, for, Money, with, Sailors, of, all,Nations.
The Pub, had, called,'Last Orders', so, now,We, had, arrived, in, the 'Norseman'..in, the early,Hours, of, a very long, day..

In, the Centre, of, the, Tiny Club, was, a Dance Floor, made, up, of, Nine, or, Twelve, Glass,Squares, that, were, illuminated,
with, different, Colours, from, underneath. A small Bar,in, a Corner, served,Bottles, of, Spirits, at, inflated, prices, to,
inebriated, Sailors, and, all, around, in, gloomy, corners, sat,Painted Ladies, waiting, to, be, asked, to Dance.
The Place, was, filling, up,and,in, those, days,People were, smoking, and, a cloud, of, smoke, was broken, by, the flashing, strobe,
lamp, that, was, the only, source, of, Light.
Entering, the Doorway, of, this, Club,You, were, met, by,someone's, idea, of,humour..A real Coffin, with, a dummy figure,
was, placed, against, a wall, and, it, was, covered, by, a glass, top, of, course, this, was, used, as, a Table, in, the crowded, space, and,We, were, standing, next, to, it, having, a drink.
I, was, chatting, to, some,of,Dave's, Mates, from, his, Ship, which, was, berthed, in, the nearby,Dock, when, a nice, looking, Girl, caught, My, attention. So, I, asked, Her, for, a dance, and,We, made, Our,way, onto, the Dance Floor.
It's, hard, to, show, Your, moves, when, Your, head, is, hitting, a Strobe Lamp, but, I, did, My, best, to Boogie, to, 'KC', and,
the Sunshine Band',and, was, pleased, to hear, the Lady, ask, Me, to buy,Her, a Drink.
So, I, motioned, to Dave, to go, to the Bar,which, He, duly, did.

Returning, to,the Coffin Table,I,was, smiling, like, a Cheshire Cat,as, the nice Girl,I, had, been, dancing, with, gave, Me, a wink.
Dave, came, over, to, the Coffin, at, the same, time, as, the Dwarf.
Yes, that's, right, a Dwarf..He,was, a real life, Midget/Dwarf,and, had, been, watching, Me,from, a Phone Booth, in, the corner, near, the Bar.

"See, Her, over, there?"..He said, nodding, towards, the Bar
"What about,Her?", I, asked, in,Genuine Puzzlement.
"I've Shagged Her"..He replied.
I, was, uninterested, and, took, little notice,so,I, turned, away, to talk, to, the others.Next, Moment, the Dwarf, was, tugging, at, My Shirt, and,I turned, to face Him.
" See,Her, over, there?"..He said,now nodding, towards, My,Female dancing Partner..
"What about Her?"..I replied.
"I've shagged Her, too"..He said
I, couldn't resist, it, and, said..
" You're ,a right, Little Shagger?, aren't,You?"..
At, which, the Dwarf, took, offence, and, jumped,up,grabbing, My, New,Denim Shirt, and, knocking, Me ,off, balance, into, the crowded, Dance Floor,He, was, swinging wildly, trying, to punch Me,in, the face, but, I, was, laughing, so, much,at, the,
absurdity, of, the situation, I, couldn't do anything, until, the Bouncers, pulled, Him, off, still screaming ,at, Me,and, threw Him,bodily, out, into, the Street.
Dave, and, the others ,went, out, after,Him, but, He, had, disappeared, into, a Taxi, before, They, could, do anything,so, They came, back, inside, and, We, were, all, still laughing, like, a Bunch, of, Hyenas..when, the Nice looking, Girl, came, over, and, put, something, into, My,Hand..It, was, the Wad, of,Venezuelan Bolivars, they, had, fallen, out, My, Pocket, "You dropped, this",She said...

Russell Howard's Good News - Scouse Accent

Kant vs. Utilitarianism

According to Immanuel Kant consequences do not matter, as opposed to utilitarianism in which consequences matter. The Kantian view focuses on the motivation for performing an act with total disregard for the consequences. In opposition to this view, utilitarianism makes ethical decisions about an act based the consequences that the action will bring. For a person who uses the Kantian theory, they believe that the only pure good is human reason without any regard to the consequences. This human reason as discussed by Kant should be without influence of emotions or desires. As opposed to the utilitarian view, that states that the motives of an action are not important, just the consequences. A purely good act, as defined by Kant?s theory would be performed because of obligation to the categorical imperative. However, according to utilitarianism a good ethical decision is measured by the amount of happiness that the act creates. This basic difference between Kant and John Stuart Mill?s utilitarianism can also be demonstrated in terms of deontological vs. teleological ethics.
Teleological ethics, which focuses on the end results of an action, can be criticized because it fails to address the instance of someone who really does try hard, with good motivations, but whose end results are not of the greatest good. This brings us to deontological ethics, which focuses on the intentions and motivations of an action. Critics have pointed out, that in order to tell what peoples motivations are, you need to see the end results. This shows the separation between Kant?s deontological ethics and Mill?s teleological ethics.

New Order-Blue Monday with lyrics

Thesis 4: Universalism and communitarianism rather than being opponents are two types of humanism dependent on each other. They are confronted by the ontology of singular equality.
http://criticallegalthinking.com/2013/05/30/seven-theses-on-human-rights-4-universalism-communitarianism-are-interdependent/

The debate about the meaning of humanity as the ground normative source is conducted between universalists and communitarians. The universalist claims that cultural values and moral norms should pass a test of universal applicability and logical consistency and often concludes that, if there is one moral truth but many errors, it is incumbent upon its agents to impose it on others.
Communitarians start from the obvious observation that values are context-bound and try to impose them on those who disagree with the oppressiveness of tradition. Both principles, when they become absolute essences and define the meaning and value of humanity without remainder, can find everything that resists them expendable.
Kosovo is a good example. The proud Serbians killed and ‘cleansed’ ethnic Albanians in order to protect the integrity of the ‘cradle’ of their nation (interestingly, like most wild nationalisms, celebrating a historic defeat).NATO bombers killed people in Belgrade and Kosovo from 35,000 feet in order to defend the rights of humanity. Both positions exemplify, perhaps in different ways, the contemporary metaphysical urge: they have made an axiomatic decision as to what constitutes the essence of humanity and follow it with a stubborn disregard for alternatives. They are the contemporary expressions of a humanism that defines the ‘essence’ of humanity all the way to its end, as telos and finish. To paraphrase Emmanuel Levinas, to save the human we must defeat this type of humanism.
The individualism of universal principles forgets that every person is a world and comes into existence in common with others, that we are all in community. Every human is a singular being, unique in her existence as an unrepeatable concatenation of past encounters, desires, and dreams with future projections, expectations, and plans. Every single person forms a phenomenological cosmos of meaning and intentionality, in relations of desire conversation and recognition with others. Being in common is an integral part of being self: self is exposed to the other, it is posed in exteriority, the other is part of the intimacy of self.

Father White

Father Andrew White (1579-1656) was born in England and schooled at colleges in England, Spain and France. After he became a Jesuit priest, he taught at two universities in France, coming secretly to England many times to visit Catholic friends. He went to work for Cecil Calvert, the second Lord Baltimore, who needed his help finding Catholic families to settle in his new colony, Maryland, where Father White wanted the Jesuits to establish a Catholic mission. In November 1633, he, his fellow priests and nine servants met the ship Ark at the Isle of Wight, just before it sailed for the New World. Father White kept a journal of this voyage called, Voyage into Maryland, which describes what life was like for the colonists on their four-month voyage and during the first months of their settlement. English colony on Barbados. They repaired the Ark, and once again set sail for the coast of North America. After stops in Barbados and Virginia, they landed, on March 25, 1664, near the mouth of the St. Mary's River. Father White celebrated Mass that day to thank God for their safe landing, thus becoming the first Catholic priest to offer Mass in the original 13 colonies. They made a treaty with the Yaocomico Indians for land at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay, and built a new town called St. Mary's City. Father White studied the Native American languages, wrote a dictionary, and translated Catholic prayers into the Indian language. His mission ended in 1645 when Richard Ingle and his fellow Protestants raided St. Mary's, captured the Catholic priests and leaders of the colony, and brought them back to England, where he was jailed until a trial in January 1648 acquitted him of wrongdoing and released him. He died in England 8 years later. More
