watched 2020 movie, 'The Way Back', about an alcohol abuser working as a basketball coach.
enjoyed it, very well acted and directed, written by Inglesby ,an interesting guy in his own right,
coming as he did, from a 'famous basketball father' background.
nice quote that resonated with me, when ,character, Jack 'Cunningham'..[made me smile that name happy days indeed]finally underwent some therapy in the movie; "abusers who self-harm, do not realise, they are doing it to themselves in the mistaken belief they are 'getting back' at their father",
something I always thought.
Trauma, also, has a place here.
Anyway, it reminded me of my trip to San Pedro, Los Angeles, some years ago for some reason? maybe the back drops on set?
but, what I do not really get, is why, the title, was identical to the 2010 movie with Colin Farrell?
